Boat and tackle storage
Measure usable storage for your craft, trailer and gear. Check turning space, charging needs and community storage restrictions. Consider where wet equipment will dry and how you will secure it when away.
Dock or ramp routine

Early and late trips
Evaluate the house-to-water path, lighting, permitted access times and the effort of loading equipment. A dock near the home does not establish a ten-minute launch or unrestricted use at any hour.
