Mountain Park is a South Carolina Cliffs community. It should not be described as an Asheville or North Carolina location. The official golf description emphasizes a Gary Player design along the North Saluda River; compare that course setting separately from the terrain and condition of a particular home or homesite.

Avoid applying a course description to every property.
Gary Player design
The operator identifies a links-style course that opened in 2013, with relatively little elevation change in the golf routing. That does not mean every residential parcel is level. Tour the specific house or site and evaluate the driveway, drainage, outlook and outdoor areas.
Location and daily routes
Use the actual address and authorized entrance to compare trips to Greenville, services and other destinations. Do not describe Mountain Park as a direct border location or imply convenient access to a distant national forest without a defined route.
Evaluate the Club and Home
Keep amenities and property obligations distinct.
Membership requirements
Current public membership descriptions use Active and Golf. Confirm the property’s eligibility, application, initiation and recurring charges with the club. A home purchase does not automatically transfer the prior owner’s membership or guarantee reservations across the network.
Condition or buildability
For an existing home, inspect systems, alterations and maintenance. For a lot, review the building envelope, utilities, site work and current design requirements. Compare relevant properties and complete costs without assuming newer architecture establishes a higher value or a younger resident profile.
Arrange an Informed Visit
Use the correct access process.
Tour planning
The Cliffs requires visitor preregistration and approved amenity tours scheduled at least forty-eight hours ahead under its current policy. Confirm the available day and scope of access. A property showing and a facility tour are separate arrangements.
Compare with the lake
